Terry G aka HITMAN was born in lagos,Nigeria on the 17th of march 1986.He is the first son/child in a family of four. A very talented and successful entertainer,instrumentalist,singer and music producer.
The development of his unique style called chante chante is the result of a lifetime of musical influence. Growing up in a talented musical family meant that Terry G was surrounded by different forms of music. His mother is a zonal/unit choir coordinator in one of the longest Pentecostal churches in Nigeria,and his parents exposed him to a wealth of music as a child,all of which influenced his development .
At age 5 he started playing the drumer,later he began to play the piano and bass guitar, which he continued with for many years before he finally took the bold step of pursuing a professional career in music @ age of 16,a dream which he never looked back from.
His musical prowees were developed from the church, playing for different ministries which has a profound influence on the direction his musical journey has taken. After realizing that making music was his main goal he switched to circular music and worked as a back up artiste for Faze of plantashun boiz for 2 years,after which he began to showcase his talent in various realms across the city of lagos and beyond, playing at numerous events and making sure his that his name and music were being heard by as many people as possible.
He was quickly noticed for the unique style (chante chante) that he brought to the traditional Nigerian music scene, and his popularity began to grow.
As a musician he has since released 2 albums titled FREE ME and GINJAH UR SWAGGAH SEASON 1 respectivelly:which were very successful and enjoyed heavy airplay both within and outside the shores of Nigeria. His first production work was with kemistry titled shake, ever since then his gone on to produce 9ICE,2-SHOT,TIMAYA,NAETO C,AWILO,YQ,DAGRING(RIP) just to mention a few.
His breakthrough came when his FREEMADNESS song gained heavy rotation play both locally and internationally, his gone to produce other hits like pass me ur luv ,incase u neva know,gbon gbon gbon just to mention a few. He has received several awards too numerous to list but note worthy is his HIP HOP WORLD AWARD for “best street hop.
